Romance In The Park
"I wanted my wedding to be unique yet affordable. I researched the cost of live flowers & preservation, and to my surprise, wooden flowers were more elegant and cost friendly."
"The colors of the bouquet were magnificent in the sunlight. They made the flowers on my wedding gown stand out while offering diversity to the overall color scheme of my wedding in the park."
"Karinne was wonderful in assisting me with my personalized order as well as spending the time to itemize a list of materials I would need in order to create my bridesmaids bouquets with the help of my mother's talents. She offered optimum customer service, and made the vision in my head a reality for my special day. It was a pleasure to work with Karinne and her staff at Bergo Designs."
"In addition to the diversity added to my wedding, the flowers were a gift for my bridesmaids. I thought it would be a beautiful and elegant keepsake gift for the special people in my ceremony. Also, Karinne made both of the mother's corsages, and they were elegant and simple in their beauty. All of the bridesmaids loved their bouquets, and could not believe that the roses were made of wood. They have become a permanent decorative piece in each of their homes, and also offer a special memory of the day they shared with us."
We chose to have a Sand Ceremony as a substitute for the unity candle ceremony. Each mother carries in their child's sand jar and places it on the altar. Then during the ceremony the couple pauses and takes a breath to enjoy one another and the moment. Typically the couple's song plays in the background while the bride and groom each take their individual jar and pour their sand into a unity jar. This symbolizes the two becoming one, and also provides a beautiful keepsake for your house. I chose to put my flowers into the sand of the unity jar, and we set aside a special place in our home.
"Wooden flowers are truly an outstanding idea if you want elegance on a budget. A simple beauty at a great price."
